Dennis BACK, age
82 of Middletown, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 19,
2009. He was born in Jeremiah
Kentucky (Doty Creek) the son of Henry & Angeline Back. He
retired from Sears where he was a service technician for over 42
years. He was a HAM Radio Operator, a skilled woodworker, a gardener
and an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife Linda; three
sons: Dennis Roger Back (Gloria), Russell Back (Terri), and Lee Back
(Brandie); four stepsons: Doyle Hampton (Karen), Robert Hampton (Ailene),
Steve Wilson (Lisa), and Scott Wilson (Dee); two brothers: Elmer
Back (Lois) and Ken Back; and 17 grandchildren, 19 great
grandchildren, and many other family members and friends. He was
preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Everett Back
(infant) and Carson Back (Parlee); wife Lilly Back, and stepson
Donald Hampton (Paula). Private arrangements will be planned at the
convenience of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to Cedars of Lebanon Old Regular Baptist Church, 1015 Forrer
St., Middletown, OH 45042. Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home is
in charge of arrangements. |

June BACK, age 79 of Middletown, Ohio passed away Thursday, July
27, 2006 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin, Ohio. She was born May 2, 1927
in Van Lear, Kentucky to H.G. and Lula (Underwood) Gilliam. June was the
owner and operator of Back's Produce in West Middletown. She was a
member of the Former Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, Ohio. June
was preceded in death by her husband, Aldean Back in 1997; parents;
brother, Jessie Gilliam; half-brothers, Robert Brandenburg, Willard and
Howard Gilliam; half-sisters, Lillie Cook, Goldie Weirs and Mary Ollie
Stabler. She is survived by her son, James (Judy) Back of Bloomville,
Ohio; grandchildren, Kira Back, Casey Back and Katie Back all of
Bloomville, Ohio; brother, Roy Gilliam of Middletown, Ohio; sister,
Helen Hiemstra of Kalamazoo, Michigan; nieces, Debbie Fitzgerald of
Oxford, Ohio, Madonna Kroll of Monroe, Ohio and Lorrie Kehoe of
Kalamazoo, Michigan; nephews, David Hiemstra and Pat Hiemstra both of
Kalamazoo, Michigan. Visitation will be Monday, July 31, 2006 from noon
until time of services at 2:00 p.m. at Baker- Stevens Funeral Home with
Mr. Mark Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will be at Butler County
Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Bridges Community Academy, 190
St. Francis Ave., Tiffin, OH 44883. Baker-Stevens Funeral Home is
serving the family.
