Betty J. BEGLEY, age 73 of Fairfield passed away Friday September 18, 2009 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born December 31, 1935 in Bear Branch, Kentucky the daughter of the late Robert and Malva (nee Hensley) Crawford. On November 7, 1953 in Leslie County, Kentucky she married Charles Begley. Mrs. Begley was a devoted servant of the Lord and was a long time member of Governor's Park Baptist Church, where she served the church in many capacities over the years. She worked as a courier at First Financial Bank for over 17 years, just recently retiring. She was extremely devoted to her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Charles Begley; four children, Allen (Pam) Begley of Hamilton, Jerry (Pam) Begley of Fairfield, Eddie (Julie) Begley of Hamilton, and Tina (Tim) Colina of Colerain Township; nine grandchildren Robbie (Renee) Begley, Jason Begley, Joey Begley, Randy (fiancé Jenny Jacob) Begley, Tim Colina, Tiffany Colina, Tyler Begley, Tanner Begley, and Hannah Begley; siblings Hazel (Mel) Thorne of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Ralph (Van) Crawford of Corbin, Kentucky, and Ted (Evelyn) Crawford of Lexington, Kentucky; sisters and brothers-in- law, Betty Crawford, Helen Crawford, Betty Begley, Mildred Porter, Margaret Ann (Charles) Sherrell, Audrey (Darrell) Hall, Janie (Donnie) Rice, James (Sue) Begley, Dean Begley, and Jack Begley. Mrs. Begley is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends. Visitation 5-8 PM Tuesday at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Wednesday September 23, 2009 at the funeral home.
