Nina Fay CARMACK, age 63,
of Franklin, OH; passed from time to eternity on Sunday
December 3, 2006 at her residence in the presence of her
loving family. Nina was born in Onita, KY on August 23, 1943
to Raymond and Dorothy (Webb) Abshear. She was a member of
First Baptist Church in Franklin for 56 years singing in the
choir and was an accomplished soloist singing with the
Village Singers for several years. Nina was an avid sports
fan and enjoyed attending her grandsons' sporting events and
loved camping and traveling. Since graduating from Franklin
High School she worked in banking until her retirement in
2004. She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years Jim Carmack; 2
daughters Kim Dawson and husband Duane of Springboro and
Sheri Robinson and husband Matt of Springboro; her father
Ray Abshear of Franklin; a sister, Brenda Harrison and
husband Gary of Franklin; 4 grandsons Alex, Austin, Sam, and
Ryan; and an aunt, Vivian Bicknell of Franklin. Funeral
services are Thursday at 10am at First Baptist Church 16 W.
2nd St Franklin, OH with Rev. Vernon Risner officiating.
Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be
Wednesday at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St.
Franklin, OH from 6-9pm at the funeral home. Memorial
contributions can be made to First Baptist Church.
