Nora Oditt CHAPMAN,
98 of Carlisle passed away on Fri., 9/17 at her residence.
She was born on March 11, 1912 to
Thomas & Rachel (Patrick) Oditt in Wolfe Co., Kentucky. She
was a homemaker and avid seamstress. She was a member of the
Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Miamisburg. She was preceded
in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond "Ray" Chapman; her 6
sons, 3 Infants, Chalmer, Ishmael and Dale Chapman; 2 Sisters, Sinda
Jones & Virgie Oditt and 2 Brothers, Albert & Henry Oditt. She is
survived by her 8 Grandchildren; 3 Step-Grandchildren; 9
Great-Grandchildren; 7 Step-Great-Grandchildren and 3
Great-Great-Grandchildren. Arrangements: Visitation will be on Wed.,
9/22 from 11am-1:00 pm at the Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in
Miamisburg at 6506 Gillen Lane, Miamisburg, OH 45342 with a
Celebration of Life Service also there on Wed., 9/22 at 1:00 pm with
Pastor Frank Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Germantown
Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cornerstone
Missionary Baptist Church or Hospice of Middletown. Condolences may be
