Leonard G. CHESNUT, age 87, passed away on
Friday January 22, 2010 at his home. He was retired from General
Motors Fisher Body Plant in Fairfield, Ohio and was a Kentucky
Colonel; He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He was
preceded in death by his Parents,
John Ervin Chesnut and Ninnie Sarah Lee Humfleet Chesnut;
Daughter, Penny Sue Warren; Sons, Roger and Patrick Scott Chesnut;
Brother, Arthur Chesnut, and Sister, Edith Day. He is survived by his
Wife, Helen Chesnut; Sons, Jeff Chesnut and wife Tari, Thomas Chesnut
and wife Arlene, and Brian Chesnut and wife Dani; Daughters, Karen
King, Patricia Rodriquez, Phyllis Bohn and husband Allen, and Paula
Evanski and husband Brad; 24 Grandchildren and numerous Great
Grandchildren; Brother, William Bill Chesnut, and Sister, Mildred
Proffitt. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday January 26,
2010 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the
Martin Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be after 6pm on
Monday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin, KY. |
