Ludlow Cole Sr.
Ludlow Cole Sr., of 2105 Miami Ave., died at 7:05 a.m. today at
Middletown Hospital where he had been a patient since suffering a coronary
attack last Tuesday. He had been in failing health 17 years.
Mr. Cole was a retired assistant general foreman in the west
processing department of Armco Steel Corp. He joined the company in 1915
and retired in 1954. He was a member of Lincoln Lodge 693, F&AM, the First
Christian Church and was formerly a member of the Kentucky National Guard.
A son Rudell died 11 days ago.
Surviving are his wife Fannie; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Blossom of
Middletown; two sons, Calvin and Ludlow Jr., both of Middletown; three
sisters, Mrs. Lena Webb of Cincinnati, Mrs. Geneva Conn of Hamilton and
Lonne Oliver of Detroit; three brothers, Donald, Elmer and Price Cole, all
of Middletown; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the McCoy-Leffler Funeral
Home with the Rev. Edwin Bobbitt officiating. Burial will be in Woodside
Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

PRICE P. COLE DIES TUESDAY
Funeral Arrangements Are Incomplete
Price P. Cole, 79, 2100 Woodlawn Avenue, died at his residence at 5:45
A.M. Tuesday, following an illness of three years.
Born in Beattyville, Ky., he had lived in Middletown a number of
years.
Survivors include his wife, Leona Noland Cole, three daughters, Mrs.
Lonnie Oliver, of Hamilton; Mrs. Lena Webb, of Cincinnati *; six sons,
Lester, Ludlow, Donald, Hubert, of Middletown; Elmer of Camden, and Pryse
H. Cole, of the Marine Corps, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Eicem, of
Beattyville, Ky.
Funeral services, in charge of McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, are
incomplete.
