Lula COLLINS, of Hamilton went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2009 at Hospice of Hamilton. Born on November 23, 1907 in Perry County, Kentucky, Ms. Collins raised four daughters. She was very active in gardening and flowers, working find-a-word books and loved her cats. She was an active member of Cherry Valley Baptist Church in Hamilton. She is survived by one brother, Mlnn Turner of Hamilton, and one sister, Mary Estep of Hamilton, and two daughters, Dorothy Short of Hamilton, and Barbara Tussey Barger and her fiancé Glenn Nicely of Fairfield Township. Ms Collins Is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and into a fifth generation. She was preceded in death by her parents Lottie and Eli Turner, 2 brothers, and 5 sisters and two husbands, Dan Collins and Roy Clayton Collins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Hamilton. Visitation will be September 10, 2009, from 5.8 pm. at lvey Funeral Home at Rose Hill Burial Park. Funeral Services will be Friday, September 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Services will be performed by Bro.
