Gerry DAVIDSON, age 74 of Connersville passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home. Born on March 3, 1935 in Perry County, Kentucky, she is the daughter of Arch and Gladys Couch Armstrong; both who preceded her in death. She had moved to Connersville in 2000, but had spent most of her life in Hamilton, OH. She worked as a retail clerk at Ontarios Department Store, and Hamilton Fixtures in Hamilton until her retirement then she worked part time for Joann Fabrics and Meijers. Gerry enjoyed playing bingo, doing crafts, sewing and spending time with her family. She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Vickers of Connersville, Karen Blanton and her husband Randy of Palm Bay, FL, and Tonya Vickers and her companion Kenneth Rhymer, Sr. of Connersville; two sons, Denver Vickers, Jr. of Greensboro, IN and Fred Davidson and his wife Lisa of Monroe, OH; a brother Frank Armstrong of Hamilton, OH; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Denver Vickers, Sr.; her second husband Fred Davidson; two brothers, Delmar Couch and Aaron Armstrong and a grandson Jerimiah P. Hensley. Memorial services will be held on Saturday September 5, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Urban Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville, IN. Friends and family may gather from 1:00 pm until the time of the service on Saturday.
