	March 23, 1909 Tuesday The Daily Signal, Middletown, Ohio George R. Feerer George Ferrer (Feerer) Last Rites Today Funeral service over the remains of George Ferrer, step-son of Mr. Ed Humbert of West Middletown, took place today at the house at 1:30. At 2:30 the service was held from the church. Rev. F. F. Briggs conducted the service impressively. Burial took place in Middletown Cemetery. WILSON FUNERAL HOME RECORDS name: George R. 	July 27, 1891 Middletown Daily Signal, Middletown, Ohio Mary Feerer Death’s Work Mary, wife of Samuel Feerer died Saturday afternoon at her home on Baltimore street, aged 28 years. The Funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment in the Middletown Cemetery. vcm: Mary Feerer was buried July 27, 1891 in the Middletown Cemetery. 	Several months later we find another burial however it is not listed in the Burial Ledger of the Middletown Cemetery. 	January 12, 1905 Thursday The Daily Signal, Middletown, Ohio Obe C. Feerer KILLED At Hamilton by Traction Cars Mr. Obadiah Frere (Obe Feerer) Of This City Met Death This Morning Was Employed by C. D. & T. Traction Company to Deliver Coal to Power Houses and Was Thrown Beneath the Wheels While Switching Cars at Lindenwald. Obadiah Frere, employed by the C. D. & T. Traction company to deliver coal used at the power houses along the line and residing with his wife and two children on east Ninth street in this city, was instantly killed near Hamilton this morning while switching some cars on the switch at Lindenwald. It is stated that Frere was setting the brake on a flat car attached to a loaded coal car when he was thrown between the cars and onto the tracks. Before he could save himself the wheels of the loaded car caught him and terribly mangled his body; death ensuing almost instantly. The dead man's body was prepared for burial at Hamilton and placed in charge of Undertaker Wilson of this city, who brought it to his home on Ninth street. Frere has been employed by the Traction Company for quite a while and had the superintendency of the delivery of the coal at the power houses between Dayton and Cincinnati and the man who unloaded it. He formerly lived at Heno where he married a daughter of Lon Gardner. Frere's parents reside near Franklin. A grief stricken wife and two small children survive him.	by Vivian Moon 7 August 2007
	January 13, 1905 Friday The Daily Signal, Middletown, Ohio FUNERAL HOUR The body of O. C. Freere (Feere), who was killed by the traction cars at Hamilton yesterday, was taken to the home of Lon Gardner, father of Mrs. Freere, at Heno, where the funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at one o'clock. 	January 13, 1905 Friday The Daily Signal, Middletown, Ohio POWER HOUSES Of the C.D. and T. Traction Co. Were Inspected A party of officials of the C. D. & T Traction Co., inspected the power houses between Cincinnati and Dayton, today, stopping at the U.S. Hotel here for dinner at noon. Those in the party were: Dr. L. Duncan, Thos. Elliott and L. H. Lunn, of Cincinnati, General Manager F .J. J. Sloat, Superintendent O. L. Palmer and Master Mechanic L .M. Sheldon.	by Vivian Moon 7 August 2007
