William C. Geiger
FRANKLIN – William C. Geiger, 71, of 8188 Martz-Paulin Road, died
yesterday at 4:50 a.m. at Middletown Hospital where he had been a patient
for six days.
Born in Dayton, Mr. Geiger had lived in Franklin for 20 years and
retired from the building and grounds section of the Ohio Department of
Transportation in ‘June 1976 after 28 years.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, lodge 2309, in
Franklin.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two sons, William and Robert,
both of Dayton; two stepsons Ross Yeary of Phoenix, Ariz, and Robert Yeary
of Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Woodward of Kettering, Mrs.
Arlene Leibold and Mrs. Mary Anna Kress, both of Dayton’ a brother Herbert
of Independence, Mo., 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Joseph R. Baker Funeral Home
with the Rev. Don McMurry, officiating. Burial will be in Woodside
Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. |
