Bob JONES, age 64 of Hanover Township, passed away at Deaconess
Hospital on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 9:29 PM. He was born in Mt.
Vernon, Kentucky on December 4, 1941 the son of Robert and Virginia
(Payne) Jones. Bob was the owner and operator of A&E Construction for
the past eight years. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge #3986. On
December 3, 1960 in Brownsburg, Indiana he married Anna M. Burdine. He
is survived by his wife, Anna M. Jones of Hanover Township; one
daughter, Tammy Oehler and her husband Kenneth of Hamilton; father,
Robert Jones Sr. of Hamilton; three brothers, Bill Jones of Atlanta,
Georgia, Jack Jones and his wife Cindy of Hamilton, and Terry Jones of
Fairfield; and one granddaughter, Erica Lipscomb. He was preceded in
death by his mother, Virginia Jones; and two sisters, Kimberly Day and
Brenda Darlene Jones. Memorial service will be held at the
Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, May 30,
2006 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Memorial
gathering will be held Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral
home.

Jones Rites At Franklin Are Saturday

FRANKLIN - Services for Carl L. Jones, 45, appliance
dealer, who died Tuesday night at Middletown Hospital as a result of a
heart attack suffered Sunday at his home, will be held at 1:30 p.m.
Saturday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. Elmer J. Gregg will
officiate and burial will be in Hill Grove Cemetery, Miamisburg.
A resident of 214 1/2 S. Main St., Mr. Jones operated the
Refrigeration Equipment Co. on S. Main Street.
Friends may call at the Unglesby Funeral Home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9
p.m. tomorrow.

Virginia JONES, age 84, of Germantown, OH, passed away Sunday,
March 26, 2006 after an extended illness with Alzheimer's. Virginia
was born in Beattyville, KY, on April 15, 1921, to the late Mollie
(Deaton) and Orlie Mosley. She retired from Square D after 26 years of
service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband of 53 years, Shelby Jones; and her brother, Garland Mosley of
Red Lion. She is survived by her daughter and son-in -law, Zereda &
Herman Napier of Germantown, OH; 2 grandchildren, Craig Napier and
Tara Napier; and her great-granddaughter, Molly Napier all of Trenton,
OH; a brother, Sam Mosley of Florence, KY; 2 sisters, Maurice Cordray
of Cleves, OH and Gwyndola Dunn of Verona, KY; numerous nieces and
nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dalton Funeral
Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, where the
Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, with Pastor Tim
Woodward officiating. Burial Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, OH.

William ''Earl'' JONES Sr. Age 76, of
Hamilton passed away at home on Thursday, February 9, 2006 and went on to
be with the Lord. He was born on May 16, 1929 in Manchester, KY to the
late J.B. Marshall and Sudie (Lewis) Jones. Earl will be lovingly missed
by his wife Faye, whom he married on September 10, 1952; daughter Daphne
Jones of Hamilton; son Bill (Cindy) Jones of Hamilton, granddaughter
Kristen Jones; grandson William E. Jones, III (B.J.) of Hamilton; sisters
Helen Dye of Hamilton and Clara (Wendell) Hobby of Pigeon Forge, TN. Earl
is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces,
nephews and friends who will also miss him. Earl was preceded in death by
his parents and brothers; Dillard Jones and Cecil Jones. Earl served in
the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1947 to 1950. He enjoyed his
career at Champion Papers until his retirement in 1993. Earl was an avid
softball player for Champion Mill League Funeral service will be held at
12 Noon on Monday, February 13, 2006 at the Avance Funeral Home &
Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, with Revs. James P. Bryant and
Gordon Bialik officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of
service at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Greenwood
Cemetery, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to
Tri-County Assembly, 7350 Dixie Hwy., Fairfield, OH 45014. |
