DEATH
SUMMONS WILLIAM KEMP
Esteemed Citizen Passes to his reward after brief
illness
Death claimed William Kemp last night at his home in West Middletown
where he had been a lifelong resident and where for many years he
held the position as baggage master at the C.H. and D railway
station. He was 55 years and seven days of age at the time of his
death which occurred at 9:30 o'clock last night following a brief
illness of complications. His death is regretted deeply by many
persons by whom he was greatly esteemed and by his associates at the
depot where he was a longtime trusted and highly respected employee.
He was the son of Jacoby Kemp and was born in West Middletown. He is
survived by the following relatives who have the sympathy of many
friends; The widow, one daughter Miss Mary Kemp, three brothers, L.L.,
Edward, and John all residents of near Middletown. Two sisters Emma,
and Mrs Bertha Pharis. The funeral services will be held at 2o'clock
Monday afternoon at the residence conducted by Rev D.H. Rittenhouse.
Burial will be made in the Middletown
cemetery. |
