| November 20, 1919 The Middletown
News Signal, Middletown, Butler County, Ohio Fred Kesting After suffering from a sever attack of illness which came last Saturday, Fred Kesting, prominent contractor, succumbed to death at his home on Oak street. The deceased has been a resident of Middletown for many years and has been in the contracting business most of the time. He was a prominent member of the Eagle lodge also an active member of the men's society of the St. John's church. Several time since the attacks which came Saturday, relatives have entertained hopes that Mr. Kesting would recover, but late last night he took a turn for the worse and death came about four o'clock this morning. The deceased is survived by the widow; two brothers and two adopted children and to them the deepest sympathy of all is being extended today. The funeral services will be held from St. John's church at 8:30 Saturday morning, Rev, Father Gerdes to celebrate requiem mass while interment in charge of Undertaker Wilson will be made in Calvary cemetery. |
