Ernest KING, age 93, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Tuesday,
May 2, 2006 at his residence. He was born June 5, 1912 in Insko,
Kentucky to Thaxter and Nannie (Miller) King. Ernest was a factory
worker at Magnode for 23 years retiring in 1974. He was preceded in
death by his parents; his wife, Golden Fletcher King in April 1992;
sons, Clyde King, 1997 and Ernest King, 2001; grandson, Steven King,
1994. He is survived by 4 sons, Wilgus (Jessie) King, Arnold (Ruth)
King, Forrest (Dixie) King and Carl (Heidi) King all of Middletown;
3 daughters, Betty Drake, Nevelyn (Denver) Hembree and Wilma
(Ernest) Morris all of Middletown; 27 grandchildren, 49
great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren. Visitation
will be Thursday, May 4, 2006 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens
Funeral Home. Services will be Friday, May 5, 2006 at 10:00 am with
Rev. S. Kevin Collins and Rev. Randy Wallace officiating. Interment
will be at Butler County Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to
Hospice Care of Middletown-2709 McGee Ave., Middletown, Ohio 45044.
Baker-Stevens Funeral Home is serving the family.

Tina L. SMITH-KING, age 47, of Middletown,
Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at University Hospital
in Cincinnati. She was born
September 17, 1962 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was a mother
and homemaker and active with her girls in schooling and their
activities. She was a member of the Oasis Church. She is survived by
her husband, Rick King; her three children, Philip Dean Gammon, Jr.
of Indianapolis, Indiana, Savannah Rae Smith and Leslie Noelle Smith
both of Middletown; parents, Ellis
and Juanita Bartley of Rutledge, Tennessee; three brothers,
Darrell Bartley of Ft. Myers, Florida, David (Kimberly) Bartley of
Rutledge, Tennessee, and John Bartley of Rutledge, Tennessee; two
sisters, Melissa (Gary) Hogston of Stele, Kentucky and Sabrina Crim
of Elkhorn City, Kentucky; family, Spencer Swiney of Rutledge,
Tennessee; adopted sister, Heidi Bartley of Rutledge, Tennessee; and
best friend, Donald Eugene Gross of Middletown. Visitation will be
Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Herr-Riggs
Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Private services will be
held at the convenience of the family at the funeral home with Dr.

Wilgus D. KING, age 71 of Middletown, Ohio
passed away at his residence Monday, May 22, 2006. He was born
December 27, 1934 in Vancleve,
Kentucky to Ernest and Golden (Fletcher) King. Wilgus
worked as a laborer for Magnode for 14 years and as an attendant
at Triangle Fishing Lake for 4 years retiring in 1984. He was a
member of the Poasttown First Church of God. He was preceded in
death by his parents; brothers, Clyde and Ernest King, Jr. and
nephew, Steven King. He is survived by his wife of 51 years,
Jessie L. King; sons, Ray (Bobbie) King of Middletown, OH and
Davey (Teresa) King of Middletown, OH; 5 grandsons and 2 great
grandsons; 3 brothers, Arnold (Ruth) King, Forrest (Dixie) King
and Carl (Heidi) King, all of Middletown, OH; sisters, Betty
Drake, Nevelyn (Denver) Hembree and Wilma (Ernest) Morris all of
Middletown, OH; and a host of nephews and nieces. Visitation
will be Tuesday, May 23, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at
Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday, May 24,
2006 at 10:00 am with Rev. Randy Wallace officiating. Interment
