News-Journal, Wilmington, Clinton County, Ohio Mrs. Pearl Martin Mrs. Pearl Martin, 74, of 3664 Clarksville Rd., Clarksville, died Monday morning at her residence. Her husband, Archie Martin, whom she married Aug. 16, 1927, died May 8, 1980. Born in Beattyville, Ky. on Oct. 12, 1911; Mrs. Martin was the daughter of Charles Brandenburg and Daisy Mae McIntosh Brandenburg. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Gloria Harris of Carlisle, Mrs. Joan McCarty of Dayton, Mrs. Ruth Dupree and Mrs. Patricia Howard of Wilmington; four brothers, Charles and Woodrow Brandenburg of Middletown, Sid Brandenburg of Franklin and Howard Brandenburg of Monroe; Two sisters, Virginia Allen of Palm Bay, Fla., and Oma Knapp of Middletown; 23 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. One son, Ronald Martin, one brother, Eugene Brandenburg, and one sister, Carrie Edwards, are deceased. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Reynolds-Smith funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon 2 p.m.. the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Clarksville Cemetery. |
