Kenneth C. MOODY,
age 74, of Morgan Township, passed away at Ft. Hamilton
Hospital, Monday evening December 28, 2009. He was
born on August 27, 1935 in
Pineville, Kentucky the son of Oliver and Fanny (Hudson) Moody.
He was educated in the Pineville Schools. On November 22, 1958 in
Covington, Kentucky he married Glenda Wright. Kenneth worked as a
machinist at Cambridge Tile for 37 years, retiring in 1986. He was
a faithful member of 40 years of the Shandon Congregational Church
where he had served as a Deacon and helped in many other
capacities. Kenneth was a very devoted family man and enjoyed
traveling and spending time with his family. He is survived by his
wife, Glenda Moody of Morgan Township, two daughters, Lisa (Tim)
Gray of Hamilton, Lana (Ken Hill) Moody of Morgan Township, two
grandchildren, Nicholas Gray (his fiancé Brittany Kammeron) and
Samuel Daggett, one brother Oliver Moody, Jr. and three sisters,
Christine Freeland, Charlotte Moody and Pearlie Mae Langford. He
is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. He
was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter Lora Moody.
Funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at
Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton-Cleves Rd., Ross,
Ohio. Visitation will be Friday evening 5 8 p.m. Burial will be in
Venice Cemetery, Ross, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to
Shandon Congregational Church, P.O. Box 45, Shandon, Ohio 45063.
