Callie Moore
Morgan County, Ky., native, Mrs. Callie Lawson Moore, 89, died Thursday at Barbara Parke Convalescent Center. She was born 2 July 1904 to the late John Lawson and Amanda Hayes. A homemaker she attended Stratford Heights Church of God and was a member of the Church of God in Hazel Green, Ky. Her husband Sherman Moore died in 1987. She is survived by two sons, Frank of Campton, Ky and Lee of Middletown; daughters Elba Collie, Emma Hamilton, Nellie Powers and Ethel Handy all of Middletown and Carol Williams of Hamilton. Services at Wilson-Schramm-Spauldin and Burial in Woodside Cemetery.

Lahoma MOORE, age 63, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Atrium Medical Center where she had been a patient for four days. She was born March 7, 1946 in Hazard, Kentucky, and lived in Middletown most of her life. Preceding her in death were her parents, Algin and Maxine (King) Barnes; her husband, Fred W. Moore in 1999; and two grandsons, Daehon William Moore and Christopher J. Harrison. She is survived by two daughters, Arlene Harrison, husband, William P. of Gratis, Ohio and Kimberly Combs, husband, Floyd R. of Morgan County, Kentucky; one son, Fred Moore of Middletown, Ohio; seven grandchildren, William P. Jr., Bethany Rose, Olivia, Zoe, Andrew, Abby, and Alana; three brothers, Al Barnes, Robert Barnes and Ronny Barnes; one sister, Frances Mullins; and many nieces, nephews and good friends. Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Poasttown, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Butler County Humane Society. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.

Mrs. Mary Anna Fairchild Moore
    MORROW - Mrs. Mary Anna Fairchild Moore, 75, of Morrow, died at 1:15 p.m. yesterday at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington.
    The widow of James W. Moore, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mattie Bradley of Hamilton and Mrs. Emily Jones of Lebanon; three sons, O. B. Moore of Cincinnati, Walter of New Burlington and Henry F. Moore of Morrow; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Perry of White Lake, Wis.; three brothers, W. N. Fairchild of Gibson City, Ill, and Fred and B. B. Fairchild, both of Waynesville; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Fisher Funeral Home Wilmington, with burial in New Burlington cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.

Mr. and Mrs. Grant Moore lost their little daughter, Ruby, aged two years, when the little one passed away yesterday at three o'clock at the residence, 1018 Queen street.
Rev. Mr. Hobbs will conduct the funeral Friday at two o'clock and the body will be laid to rest in Woodside Cemetery.
