Arthur MULLINS, age 89 of Trenton
passed away at Berkeley Square Health Care on Thursday, January 14,
2010 at 9:50 PM. He was born in Pilot, Kentucky on August 31, 1920
the son of John and Mary (Townsend) Mullins. Arthur was a veteran of
the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942 to 1946. He was employed
as an assembler at Delco Moraine in Dayton for 16 years, retiring in
1982. Arthur was a member of Greenhills United Baptist Church. On
November 28, 1947 in Winchester, Kentucky he married Verna Branham,
and she preceded him in death in 2005. He is survived by a son, Rev.
Tim (Norma) Mullins of Hamilton; four daughters, Venis Torge,
Dolores (Whitey) Lawson, Alanna Wolf, and Cindy (Rick) Braun, all of
Hamilton; six grandchildren, Gena (Steve) Etson of Hamilton, Brian
Vandeventer of Middletown, Marcus Wolf of Trenton, Lee Mullins of
Hamilton, Luke Mullins of Hamilton, and Dusty (Jason) Dunaway of
Middletown; seven great-grandchildren, Brandon, Julia, Aaron, Adam,
Tyler, Carrie, and Little Mitchell; two sisters, Sylvie McIntosh and
Arbutus McIntosh, both of Shelbyville, Kentucky; and numerous
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in
death by his parents; two brothers, Elmer and Hoover Mullins; and
three sisters, Audrey Knox, Dorothy Ledford, and Zelphie Hall.
Funeral service will be held at the Greenhills United Baptist
Church, 2087 Fenton Street, Williamsdale, on Tuesday, January 19,
2010 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00
PM.
