A Noble Woman Walks Into Miami's Depths to Escape the World's Burdens

Funeral Tomorrow
Miss Clara Oblinger Will be Buried in the Old Home Cemetery
The remains of Miss Clara Oblinger were taken to her home in
Germantown yesterday. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock.
The death of this popular lady casts a gloom over the village where
she spent her life and where many friends morn her sad death.
She was a member of one of Germantown's most prominent people the
daughter of Orin Oblinger, a business man who in his day was rec(sp?) who
committed suicide some nineteen years ago.
It has been learned that she requested Mrs. Vail not to sleep with her
as was the custom as it made her nervous, and it is presumed that she had
firmly resolved in her own mind to end her troubles as she did by
repairing to the river when the family retired and end her misery. This
closes the life of a once most beautiful and interesting young woman.
vcm: Clara Belle OBLINGER
born August 5, 1877 died October 3, 1909.
She was the d/o Orion M. Oblinger and Belle Death (Dearth) that were
married October 19, 1869 in Warren County, Ohio. This family can be found
in the 1880 and 1900 Census of Montgomery Co, Ohio
