Phyllis PATER, age 73, of Hamilton, died on
Thursday, May 18, 2006, at the Ft. Hamilton Hospice.
Born on July 26,
1932, in Beattyville, Kentucky, she
was the daughter of the late Douglas and Grace (Phillips) Horn.
On October 7, 1948, Phyllis married her husband of over 39 years,
Lawrence Pater, and he preceded her in death on February 13, 1988.
She worked for Nichting Supper Club for five years. Phyllis is
survived by her children Willie Pater and his wife "Didder", Larry
Pater and his wife Devona, Donald Joe Pater and his wife Donna, Sue
Needham and her husband George, Donna Nunemaker and her husband
Phillip, Midge Grubb and her husband Jimmy, Lynn Lunsford and her
husband Tim, all of Hamilton; 13 grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a devoted sister-in-law
JoAnn Pater. Phyllis was also preceded in death by her daughter Tari
Steimel, a granddaughter Madison Pater, sister Dottie Taylor, and
brother Tommy Horn. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan
Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday,
May 23, 2006. Interment will follow at Venice Cemetery in Ross.
Family and friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of
service at the funeral home. The family would like to express their
sincere gratitude for all the their loving care and suggest that
memorial contributions be sent to Ft. Hamilton Hospice 630 Eaton
Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
