Sherman H. PENNINGTON,
81, of Lebanon, died Monday September 21, 2009.
Born August 30, 1928 in Burning
Springs KY to Jasper and Gertrude (nee: Rollins) Pennington,
he was a proud US Navy veteran. He was a member of the VFW and
American Legion where he served as a chaplain, past commander for
Warren County and a Sargent at Arms for the state of Ohio. He retired
from Cincinnati Milicron in 1984 after 38 years of service. Preceded
in death by his parents, one brother, Gene Pennington and one sister,
Marchese Dalton, survivors include three sons, Sherman C. (Gail)
Pennington of Morrow, Roy L. Pennington of Cincinnati, and David A.
(Angela L.) Pennington of Lebanon, and six grandchildren, Adam L.,
Lucas M., Logan L., Christi L., Elizabeth M., and Davee L. Pennington.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements

Viola Christine PENNINGTON,
(nee: Morris) 71, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Lebanon, OH
died Wednesday February 3, 2010. Born
September 8, 1938 in Owsley County, KY to Durward L. and Nova (nee:
Tincher) Morris, she was a 1957 graduate of Lebanon High
School. A member of the Northside Baptist Church, she owned and
operated the Pennington Drapery and Upholstery shop in Lebanon before
retiring in 1994. Preceded in death by her parents, her husbands,
Walter C. Pennington and James Frank Pennington, one brother, Wendell
C. Morris, survivors include one son, Timothy (Amy Wachter-Pennington)
Pennington, one daughter, Gladys (John) Davis, three step sons, Greg
Pennington, Bryan Pennington, and Ryan Pennington, one step daughter,
Jill Willets, and three grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Pennington,
Rachel Christine Pennington, and Eliza Grace Davis. Visitation was
Monday February 8, 2010 from 10 AM till 12 Noon with funeral service
immediately following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home,
Lebanon. Interment followed in Butler County Memorial Park. Memorials
