Curtis E.
RICH,
age 77, of Middletown passed away Monday September
7, 2009 at Hospice of Hamilton. Curtis was
born in Index, KY the son of the
late Homer and Anna (Elam) Rich. He owned and operated
Buds Wrecker Service and later Richs Sign Service. He was a
veteran of the U.S. Air Force, was a member of Middletown D.A.V.
Chapter 131 where he was a Past Commander, a member of Middletown
American Legion Post 218, and was a Kentucky Colonel. In addition
to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1
sister. He is survived by his wife Patricia ( DeGroat) Rich.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Arpp & Root
Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Grunden officiating. Burial Highland
Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the
funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to
Hospice of Middletown, or Farmersville Fire Department. On line
