Amos RICHARDSON, age 79 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 10:05 PM. He was born in Estill County, Kentucky on March 28, 1932 the son of Melvin and Gracie (Plowman) Richardson. Amos was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1952 to 1956. He was employed as a captain for the Hamilton Fire Department for 25 years, retiring in 1985. Amos was a member of Morning Star Christian Fellowship. On November 29, 1956 in Hamilton he married Dorothy Bryant. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Richardson of Hamilton; two sons, Steven (Rela) Richardson of Oxford and Greg (Julie) Richardson of Beavercreek, Ohio; a daughter, Sherry Richardson of Oxford; three brothers, Cecil (Phyllis) Richardson of Fairfield, Thomas (Faye) Richardson of Hamilton, and Alfred (Pam) Richardson of New Jersey; two sisters, Katherine (Elmer) Harrison of Hamilton and Geraldine (Jim) McIntosh of Germantown; nine grandchildren, Brandon, Brad, Hilary, Jamos, Ryan, Jake, Whitney, Ashley, and Zachary; and six great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Carson, Tatum, Blake, Brianna, and Grant. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Hargus, Lonzil, Malcolm, and Elmer Richardson; and four sisters, Bessie Messelling, Delora Brinegar, Eva Duncan, and Carrie Bowling. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Morning Star Christian Fellowship, 200 Belle Avenue, on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ron Howard officiating.

 Jaye RICHARDSON,age 76 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, January 1, 2011. He was born in Irvine, Kentucky on April 27, 1934 the son of Justus and Bertha (Hymer) Richardson. Jaye was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1956 to 1958. He was employed as a millwright at Pillsbury for 25 years. He was later employed at General Motors in Norwood for 12 years, retiring in 1988. Jaye was a very talented and kind-hearted person who was always willing to lend a hand. On July 3, 1970 in Richmond, Indiana he married Mae (Whitt) Smith, and she preceded him in death in 1979; on July 2, 1985 in Hamilton, he married Sandra Skrzypek, and she preceded him in death in 1996. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. He is survived by his fiancĂ©e, Beulah Whitis of Hamilton; a brother, Justus (Mable) Richardson Jr. of Fairfield; a sister, Annetta Spurlock of Waynesville, Ohio; sister-in-law Wanda Whitt of Somerville and brother-in-law Ernie (Fern) Whitt of Seven Mile; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives; a brother, William Trumer Richardson; and a brother-in-law, Chub Whitt. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rick Witt of Faith Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Everett Wendell RICHARDSON, age 77, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Atrium Medical Center where he had been a patient for two days. He was born November 1, 1932 in Panola, Kentucky. He attended Monroe High School and served in the U.S. Navy in the seventh fleet during the Korean Conflict. He was a claims manager for All State Insurance Company, working in Dayton, Columbus, and Cleveland. He was a member of the V.F.W. Miami Valley Post 3809, and the Summit Lodge # 0213 F. & A. M. of Twinsburg, Ohio. He loved boating and fishing. Preceding him in death were his parents, Matt and Alice (Ingram) Richardson; two brothers, Jesse and Millard Richardson; and one sister, Marie Hill. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Peggy Jo (nee Dome) Richardson; best friend, Rags; one daughter, Cindi (John) Kemplin of Middletown, Ohio; one son, Kevin (Karen) Martin of Seattle, Washington; four grandchildren, Erin Kemplin, Josh (Christina) Kemplin, Jessica Richardson, and Kelly Richardson; 2 great granddaughter twins, Zoey Ann and Madison Jo; three brothers, Troy (Tricia) Richardson, Herbert (Patty) Richardson, and Beechum (Edie) Richardson; one sister, Mary Ficklin; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, January 22, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Sue Urmston officiating. Interment will be at Grace Memorial Gardens with military services by Middletown Combined Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice Care of Middletown, 1131 Manchester Ave., Middletown, Ohio 45042. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
