Henry O. SHEFFIELD,
age 75, passed away Saturday at his residence, surrounded by
his family. He was born in Breathitt
County, Kentucky, October 8, 1934, the son of Grover and Grace
Sheffield. He worked for Aeronca Manufacturing as a Brazer
and Welder for over 41 years prior to his retirement. Henry was a
people person, who never met a stranger. He is survived by 3
daughters, Benita (Fred) Melton, Regina Diane (Mike) Jones, and Bobbie
(Ray) King; a son, Tim (Cheree) Sheffield; grandchildren Angie (Brian
Davis) Buccalo, Heather Brock, Melissa Penny, Jon King, Mike King,
Cody King, and Cris Sheffield; 10 greatgrandchildren; 3 sisters,
Nellie Stambaugh, Lily (Junior) Nance, and Sue Gilbert; and 2
brothers, Claude Sergent and Gary Sheffield. He was preceded in death
by his wife of 55 years, Wilma Jean Sheffield; by his parents; a
sister, Ruth Beaudoin; and a greatgrandson, Anthony. Funeral services
will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 26, at the
Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, with Pastor Roy Taylor
officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Monday at the funeral
home. Burial will be in North Monroe Cemetery. The family wishes to
express its thanks to Senior Independence Hospice, especially Beth,
Karen, and Carla. |
