Clark SPENCE Sr. of Middletown, Ohio passed away
Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Kensington Place. He was
born January 24, 1921 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to
Benjamin Franklin and Daisy (Thompson) Spence. Clark
served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a
truck driver for Troupe Furniture for 21 years retiring
in 1993. Clark was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie
Bell (Bush) Spence; brothers, Albert, George, Johnny,
Reese, Stanley and Wick Spence; sister, Ida Mae Spence.
He is survived by his son, Clark (Joanie) Spence, Jr. of
Middletown, OH; daughter, Sandy (Rick) Ratliff of
Hamilton, OH and Pam (Wendell) Gray of Harveysburg, OH;
7 grandchildren, Mandy, Jason and Laura Spence, Troy,
Joe and Ben Gray and Jessie Stone. Visitation will be
Thursday, March 30, 2006 from Noon to 2:00 pm at
Baker-Stevens Funeral Home with services following at
2:00 pm with Rev. Anthony Edgar officiating. Interment
will be at Woodside Cemetery with Military Honors by the
American Legion Post #218 Honor Guard. If desired
memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society-105
McKnight Drive, Middletown, Ohio 45044. Baker-Stevens
Funeral Home is serving the family.
