TOLER, Mack Dow , age 87, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at 10:19 p.m. at his residence. He was born August 22, 1918 in Beattyville, Kentucky and lived in Middletown since 1942. He served in the U. S. Army during W. W. II. He was employed as a machine operator at Inland Container for 40 years retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Community Church at 5156 Middletown-Hamilton Rd. He was preceded in death by parents: Rosa (Couch) and Alex Toler; wife, Sarah J. "Tootsie" Toler – January 10, 2006; infant daughter, Dorothy Laverne at 6 months; 1 brother and sister-in-law, David Toler and wife Udell Toler. He is survived by 1 daughter, Helen J. "Dani" Anderson – Lakebay, Washington; 4 grandchildren: Ronda Moore, Charles Daniel Traver, Jatana Wilson, and Jayne Gautney; 7 great grandchildren, Charles D. Spivey, wife Deanna; Timothy Edward and former wife Mary Ann; Maria Frisby; Chad Traver; Krystal Gauntney; Cameron Gauntney; and Cheyenne Gauntney; 6 great-great grandchildren: Logan Spivey, Gage Spivey, Alex Spivey, Felicity Golden Renee Spivey, Timothy Edward Spivey, and Caleb Michael Spivey; 2 sisters-in-law: Oleta Johnson and Ethel Brown, many nieces and nephews; special animal friend: Pixie. Visitation will be Sunday, February 12, 2006 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be Monday, February 13, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at The Community Church, 5156 Middletown-Hamilton Road, (Route 4 between Middletown and Hamilton) with Reverend Jack Woodward officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio with military services by American Legion Post 218 Honor Guard. A Memorial Dinner will be held at the church immediately following the interment at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Heart Association. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
