WILLIAMS, Carew Age 76 of Hamilton passed away at Ft.
Hamilton Hospital on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 12:10 PM. He was
born in Hazard, Kentucky on July
10, 1929 the son of Henry and Mary (Clemmons) Williams.
Carew was a veteran of the Korean Conflict with the United States
Army from 1948 to 1952. He was employed as a production worker at
Armco Steel for 35 years, retiring in 1992. Carew was a member of
Victory Pentecostal Tabernacle. On December 21, 1953 in Hazard,
Kentucky he married Louise Combs. Carew was a dedicated veteran,
provider for his family, and a devoted Christian who will be sorely
missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Louise
Williams of Hamilton; a daughter, Karen Fallone and her husband Carl
of Hamilton; four sons, Billy Williams and his wife Kathy of
Hamilton, Kerry Williams and his wife Sue of Fairfield, Carew
Williams Jr. and his wife Kelly of Hamilton, and Dean Williams of
Hamilton; two sisters, Edna Feltner and Ida Williams and her husband
Thomas, both of Hazard, Kentucky; a stepbrother, Bill Fugate and his
wife Helen of Knot County, Kentucky; seventeen grandchildren; and
twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents;
three sisters, Minnie Marlow, Sytha Williams, and Eva Williams; and
one stepbrother, Lonnie Fugate. Funeral Service will be held at the
Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, May 22,
2006 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Donald Pierce, Pastor of Victory
Pentecostal Tabernacle officiating. Burial will follow in Butler
County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 PM
to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

James ''Brit'' WILLIAMS, age 83 of Middletown, Ohio passed
away Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at his residence. He was born
November 3, 1922 in Jackson, Kentucky to John D. Williams and Lula
(Thomas) Green. He received the Purple Heart while serving in the
U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the Poasttown Church of
God and was an inspector for General Motors for 33 years, retiring
in 1978. "Brit" was preceded in death by his parents; first wife,
Athie Williams; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his wife
of 23 ½ years, Nettie Riley Williams; son, Greg (Pat) Williams of
KY; step-children, James (Melissa) Bach, Sherry (Ben) Nickell, and
Peggy (Steve) Moore all of Jackson, KY; grandsons, Cam Williams and
Evan Williams both of KY; sister, Martha Rickard of Middletown, OH
and a host of step-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday,
August 26, 2006 from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm at
Poasttown Church of God with Rev. Randy Wallace officiating.
Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military services by the
Franklin VFW Honor Guard. Condolences may be sent to the family at

Monroe Williams,
67, of 1832 Woodlawn Ave., suffered a fatal heart attack today at
Proffitts's Grocery, 1808 Woodlawn Ave. The Middletown Fire Department
emergency squad answered the call and administered oxygen. The man was
taken to the Middletown Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:12
a.m.
A native of Dover, Tenn., he had been a resident of
Middletown for four years. A farmer, he had retired in 1946. He was a
member of the Meadow Lawn Church of God.
Survivors
include the widow, Zula; six daughters Mrs. Rosso Ronto, and Mrs. Elva
Harrison, both of Middletown; Mrs. Louise Wallace, Mrs. Rosie Morgan,
Mrs. Jewel Earnhart, all of Dover, Tenn., and Mrs. Helen Earnhart of St.
Louis, Mo.; four sons, Raymond and Lonnie both of Dover, Tenn., Brady
and Edward both of Middletown; 22 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the McCoy-Leffler

Willard R. Williams, 77, of Garden Manor Extended Care Center,
Middletown, died Monday, Sept. 6, 1999, at Middletown Regional
Hospital.
He was born on May 15, 1922, in Means, Ky., the son of Aude
Williams and Rebecca (Barnett) Williams. Mr. Williams was a Navy
veteran of World War II and had worked as a heavy equipment engineer.
He was a member of Jefferson Lodge, Scottish Rite, Antioch Shriner,
Prosser Chapter Ohio Eastern Star, American Legion Post 218 and the
Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by four sisters, Mary Cunningham of Tucson,
Ariz., Christine Whisman of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla., Irene Luttrell of
Georgetown, Fla., and Della Ray of Indianapolis, Ind.; 12 nieces; and
five nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife,
Lucille in 1995; a sister, Ruby Bailey; and a brother, Raymond
Williams.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at
Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carol Oetzel
officiating.
Burial will take place at
Middletown Cemetery. American Legion Post 218 Color
Guard will provide military honors at the graveside. Visitation will
be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Masonic
services conducted at 7:30 p.m.
MEMORIALS: The family has suggested that memorial
contributions be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3229
Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45229-3095.
