Callie M. (Crane) WOOTEN, age 84, of Hamilton, died Thursday at 1:18 a.m. at Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born June 25, 1925, in Madison County, Kentucky, the daughter of Albert and Sally (Reed) Rose. She was employed as a car checker for the B&O Railroad and Krogers. She is survived by her three sons; Harold (Audrey) Crane, Aurora, Oregon, Charles Crane and Carl Crane, both of Hamilton; her stepdaughter, Donna Schmidt (Tim), Denver, Colorado; her sister, Ruby Griffen, Richmond, Kentucky and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her three daughters; Dixie Crane, Norrine Crane and Barbara Janser; her husband, Richard Wooten, three brothers; Woodrow, James, and Elmer Rose and her sister, Marie Moyer. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd, Hamilton, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of services on Monday. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
