Laura J. Bloon   Hillsboro Press Gazette December 24, 1968       Laura J. Bloom, 75, Hillsboro Rt. 2, died at 11 A. M. Saturday at Jewish Hospital I Cincinnati.   She was born near New Market April 17, 1893, the daughter of Charles and Ella Johnson Fanning. She was a member of the Lockland Baptist Church. Her husband Eliza, died in Nov. 1963.   She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Epelka Hoskins, Cincinnati; a son Clement Bloom, Wilmington, two sisters, Mrs. Faye Kier, Hillsboro Rt. 2; and Mrs. Marie Smittle, Hillsboro; two brothers Roy Fanning, Kettering, and Floyd Fanning, Xenia; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.   Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 2 P.M. at the Rhoads Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Rev. Harry Arthur officiating. Burial will be at the New Market Baptist Cemetery.   Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 P. M. Monday until time of services.
