Soldier's Body Returned Here

 

Services to be Tuesday for Pfc. Willoughby

 

Graveside military services for Pfc. Ray Willoughby, 24, was killed in action in Korea July 28, will be held Tuesday at 2 P.M. at the New Market Baptist Church.

 

The local National Guards will be in charge of the services with the Rev. Albert Rodenhausen assisting.

 

The body arrived at the Evan Funeral Home Saturday and was escorted here by Pfc. Willoughby's brother Carl, who is serving with the U. S. Navy at San Francisco, Calif.

 

Pfc. Willoughby attended New Market School and left for overseas duty April 9.

 

In additional to his brother he is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Everett Willoughby of Ocala, Fla., three other brothers, Earl, June and Everett, Jr. all of Ocala; four sisters, Mrs. Howard Franklin, Hillsboro, Rt. 3; Mrs. Edward E. Brown of London, and Mrs. Frederick Fountain and Miss Freda Willoughby, both of Ocala.

 

The Willoughby family formerly lived near New Market.
