Mrs. Ida J. Harris, 75, widow of Carey J. Harris, died of a heart ailment Friday at 10:30 P.M. at her home near New Vienna. She had been seriously ill two weeks.
 
The daughter of Silas and Sarah Easter Saunders, she was born near New Market March 10, 1876 and was a member of the New Market Baptist Church. She had lived in New Vienna community for 12 years.
 
Survivors include on daughter, Mrs. Mary Brookbank, of Columbus, one son, Ray Harris, at home, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Harris died in December, 1949
 
Funeral services were conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, New Vienna, Tuesday at 3 P. M. with Rev. Kenneth Washburn in charge. Interment was in New Vienna IOFF cemetery.
