Hiram B. LOUTHAN lived in Columbiana Co from 1834 to his death in c1845. He lived in Elk Run, Guilford and Hanover. I would like to know if anyone knows the location of the records for the Sandy & Beaver Canal Company. Hiram was a blacksmith, and I believe he may have been in the employ of this company. His children, Oliver Perry, John Cope and James Fife would have attended school in these same locations. Did the Sandy & Beaver Canal Company have their own school? I would appreciate any information on this company and the location of its records.
