I have a Joseph CLOSE who died in Columbiana County, Ohio on the
3 January 1848. Is there anyone researching the CLOSE surname from
either Columbiana Co. or the Jefferson Co. Ohio area. Joseph was married
twice I believe. His first wife was Rachel MOFFITT. Second wife's
surname was BAKER, first name not known. Children: William, Susanna,
Nancy (direct line), Thomas, Joseph, Jacob, George, Mary, James, Rachel,
David, and Elizabeth. Would like to correspond with anyone who is

Johns Aloysius CONWAY born 1883 London ,England died about 1925
,and Wife Ariel Rosalind WICKENS CONWAY. Lived in Columbiana
co.,probabaly in Salem. Had two sons Charles and Owen. Owen was a
musician and radio personality, he died in a car accident near Allience

Emmanuel MOCKERMAN b. 16Aug1851 d. 27Jan1926 Salem, Ohio first appears in 1880 Columbiana Co. census, married Elizabeth Bramley 29Jan1881, they lived in Winona. Buried at Moultrie Unable to find any info on his family or where he came from since I started search in 1991. Elizabeth BRAMLEY b. 26Dec1862 possibly in Illinois d. 20Aug1902 at her home in Winona. Buried at Moultrie. Haven't been able find any info on her family in Ohio or Illinois Hoobler - Have almost a complete history since 1733 (& 1812 arrival in Ohio)
on this family. My great-grandfather, Eli H. HOOBLER, moved to Salem c.1900. I will soon print all my research & donate to the libraries in Salem & Lisbon as well as OGS in Mansfield. Rachel Alice CLOSE married Eli Hoobler (above) in Highlandtown on 15 Jan 1880. I have a lot of data on her family who arrived in Ohio c.1817 and further back to 1753 arrival in Pa.

Searching for information on Sylvanus Bradfield ROBISON often listed as ROBINSON born 25 July 1835 in Trumbull County who married Margaret Jane REISINGER born 3 Dec 1838 in Columbiana County I have scant information on Sylvanus's family and some better information
from Census records on Margaret's parents and siblings.
They were married in Gallia County, 21 Oct 1858. Their daughter Eliza was born in Ohio, the rest of their children in Illinois and Nebraska.

Thompson MACKEY was born in Columbiana Couty on June 14th, 1824 and married Sarah Sproule Aug. 31st, 1852. She was born in Hancock Co., West Va. They had 8 children. He lived on a farm in Ohio @19 years on
the farm before following steamboating on the Ohio and Illinois rivers. He then settled in Manhattan, Illinois.

My GGrandparents (Thomas Coleman BAILEY and Jessie Crider Bailey) lived in East Liverpool, OH and had 5 children (married name in parens): Adda (Cunningham), Charles Thomas, William, Ella (Jackson) and
Coleman. My GGrandparents (Vincent Elisha Flint and Lilly Madoria Flint) also lived in East Liverpool, OH and had eight children: Luella(Myers), Irvin, Ray, Lucy(Dunn), Mary E.(Bailey), Stella(Harsha), Hattie(Powell) and Lottie.
My paternal grandparents were Charles Thomas Bailey and Mary E. Flint Bailey of East Liverpool and their children are: Charles Ray, Richard Vernon, Alice(Galloway), Betty(Howell), Eldamae(Castelli), Jack Thomas and Allan Vern.
