Looking for descendants of William and Helen PENMAN. They were married in Scotland, came to the US in 1865 and settled in Columbiana, living in Euclid Street, Perry Township in 1900. Children included Margaret who married Edwin KOHLER and Francis who was killed in a railroad accident at East Palestine in 1892. William died in 1918 and Helen in 1930.

My grandfather, Samuel J. HANNUM and ggrandfather, William H. Hannum lived in the Highlandtown area, Columbiana County, in the late 1800's. Samuel lived in East Liverpool, OH up to his death in the 1950's.I have information about Samuel and wife Nora WINGROVE Hannum's children, but no other information about William, where he came from , where he was born or died, etc. or the birthdate and date of death of Samuel. Would like whatever information is out there.

Seeking information on my 3rd great grandfather John G. BROWN b. ca. 1819-1824 in Hanover Twp., Columbiana Co., Ohio. Married Mary _______ ca. 1840. They had the following children: George F. b. 16 Feb 1843, Melissa b. __ Aug 1845/46, Mary E. b. ca. 1846/47 and Shannon b. ca. 1849. By 1850 Mary (the wife) had disappeared from the family. John eventually found his way up to Allen Co., Indiana, he being a carpenter by trade. There he he conceived a child, Charles A. Brown 18 Jul 1856 with newly divorced Maria E. (WING) Butt. He and Maria married 27 May 1857 in Allen Co., Indiana. They then had the following children: James Fernando Brown 5 Nov 1858 (my 2nd great grandfather), Minnie Getrude Brown b. 20 Nov 1863 and Laura Bell Brown b. 7 Nov 1866. I loose track of John G. after the 1860 Census but believe he stayed in the Allen County area of Ohio. If you have information on John's parents, siblings or other family from the Columbiana Co. area.

George MARSHALL married Susan ROSS Jul 1864 supposedly in Columbiana County. They had 8 children,Sarah Elizabeth, George William, John Ross, Jane Isabel, John Edward, Henry Thomas, Hugh and Frank. Both George and Susan are buried in Riverview Cemetery, East Liverpool. There is a headstone next to George MARSHALL that says 'Sarah CROXALL' Mother of George MARSHALL. I can find no information on this relationship.

Here is the info that I have on my family and I'am at the brick wall. Do you have anything that matches? I'm looking for any info on my grandfather [Frank Arthur MYERS] who was born in Newport(?) Pa.on 12-28-1870 and died 14 Aug. 1924 in Clyde(Sandusky Co.),Ohio. He had two brothers Will (William?), and Levi MYERS, who (married a Catherine Hackenburg), he is said to have been born and died in Bellvue, Huron Co.,Ohio, unknown if they had any children. Their fathers name was Geo.(George ?) Myers, and their mothers name was Sarah J.[maiden?] Myers, but do not know if the Myers is her maiden name or not Frank moved to Ohio and married to a Jennie FAVINGER(spelling?).They had only my father Harry Arthur Myers on 7-12-1900 in Clyde,Ohio(Sandusky County). Frank owned and operated a restaurant called The Big Four, in Clyde. Frank is buried in McPhearson Cemetery in Clyde. Other names in family are Mason,Wetzel,Stout,Berger On my mothers side(Marjorie Beulah Mason) of the family.

In the 1850 Census for Butler Twp. is the Jonathon KINSEY family. He is 71 and his wife Elenor is 68. They are not to be found in the 1860 Census. I would like to know Elenor's maiden nam, and their death dates and places. I'd also like to know the names of their parents.

John MYERS b. Aug 27, 1826 married Hannah Shaffer b. April 23, 1832. They were mrried Mar 18, 1852 in Columbiana Cty, Ohio. They had ten children: Viola b. Dec 25, 1852; Nam b. Aug 13, 1854: Amanda b. Jan 25, 1856; Archie b. May 28, 1858; Lucinda b. Apr 8, 1860; Lydia b. Jul 7, 1862; Henrietta b. Jul 20, 1863; J Emmer b. Apr 6 1867; David Elmer b.
