Looking for the parents, brothers, sisters of Nathaniel BREWSTER born ca 1798 New York, and for his wife Lidia WATSON born ca 1801 Ohio. They were married on December 14, 1820 in Columbiana Co, Ohio. Her family
were hotel keepers in Ohio, and they later moved to Carroll Conty. They had four boys and two girsl. They moved to Washington County, Nebraska in 1856, were they settled, and many of them are buried int he Brewster cemetary there. Nathaniel has been said to have decended from the
Mayflower Brewsters, but have been unable to establish the line. It is most frustrating, because the name is very common, and has sometimes been spelled BRUSTER.

I'm tracing my Mother's line of Hays, and lost them in Ohio. I know George HAYS was born in Ohio in 1832, he later moved to Minnesota and married Jeanette (maiden name unknown). He had 5 children: John D., Ida, William,
Abbee(sp?) and Marshall. From George forward, I have good records, but I'm looking for his parents, who I believe would have come from Columbiana County, OH (the town of Salem is mentioned in the family history from my
Grandmother). I found a possible reference in the 1830 census book of a William Hays as a farmer in Columbiana (with a child the right age), but can't find any older records, or anything to comfirm. Does this correspond to any of the
other Hays queries posted here?
