Looking for information on the parents of Lemuel HOWE JOHNSON 5-2-1878--7-17-1945.I believe his fathers name was William Johnson and that his mothers last name was HOWE. Lemuel had a Photography studio in Lisbon in the early 1900s.He had a brother R.W. Johnson who had a confectionary store in Lisbon around the same time.Would like to speak to anyone with info on these families.I have located a photo of Lemuels parents,but am unsure of their names.

Need to connect Susanna BOSTON, (b, 1796 in Col. Co., d. 30 Dec 1848) to Michael BOSTON, who purchased a 1/4 section of section 1 in early Columbiana Co. near Washingtonville, Oh area. He later lived near Marietta, OH in Washington Co. OH. Susanna m. Jacob FOX, b. 12 Feb 1796, d. 21 Dec 1865, son of Michael FOX & Hannah STUDEBAKER from Lancaster Co. PA. to OH 1800. Susanna & Jacob buried in Fox cemetery, north of Marlboro, Oh in Stark Co. Son of Susanna & Jacob was Samuel FOX who married Maria NEISWONGER.

I am searching the following names: STRASSER SMITH NAYLOR WILLSON of Columbiana, Stark and Mahoning Cos. William C. Strasser died at home, 828 Summit, Alliance OH 7/25/1930. He was attended by Columbiana Coroner Ernest Sturgis. I am trying to obtain a death certificate for him but no one seems to know where it is located. His widow was Jessie Ablett Strasser who was also there, his daughter Eleanor and another party. Jessie had 3 children, Jack, Russell and Nadine, now Shaheen. Cassady, Turkle and Christian Funeral took care of the remains and he is buried in Alliance City Cemetery.

There were John & William in Middletown. Our John BROWN (b. 1796) m. "E." (GRIMES) and lived in Columbiana Co. Isaac BROWN, father of John, was also in Augusta Twp. Any clues, however small, concerning the GRIMES family are welcome. We are trying to identify our "E." GRIMES and her family? Was she born in Penn.?
