I am looking for information on Levi GROVE and Mary (Rohrer) Grove who may have been residents of Columbiana County, Ohio in 1829. Some of my research records show that their son Levi B. Grove was born in Columbiana County in 1829. They moved to Putnam County, Ohio in 1833. Prior to coming to Ohio, I believe they were in Fayette, Co., PA

I am researching the family of Charles Jacob LIEBTAG / LEIBTAG of Columbiana County, Ohio. Charles was born on June 5, 1850. His parents were Gabriel Liebtag / Leibtag and Elizabeth Eckert. Charles was born in Germany as were his parents. He married Annie Bartchy of Columbiana County on March 9, 1876. They had a son named Franklin, born abt. 1880.

Am trying to find physical location of a place called Hatchers Mills. My great-great-uncle, Frederick W. HICKS, was born about 1842, according to his Michigan marriage record, in Hatchers Mills, Ohio. His Civil War military record,states he was born in Columbiana County, Ohio. Was Hatchers Mills in Columbiana County?

Need to locate anyone who may have access to the cemetery and burial records for the Oakdale Cemetery. (Leetonia area?) Trying to locate burial site for Mary Spink WILLIAMS, Mother of Joseph WILLIAMS who was killed in WWI in 1918 in France, and buried in Oakdale 8/6/1921. Believe Mary is buried in Oakdale, but perhaps without a headstone.

I am researching my husband's line of Carlisle/Carlile's. Daniel and John Carlisle came from Dunbar Twp., Fayette Co., PA...and settled in Center Twp. Columbiana Co., Ohio about 1815. Daniel bought land in Center Twp. the SE quarter of section 35. Daniel and John appear in the 1790 Census in PA. but I can find no record of them before that time. The surnames I am researching are: CARLISLE, SCATTERGOOD, CLAPSADDLE, ANDREWS, STUCKMAN, RAIL, HEPNER OR HEPBURN, FARMER, CLUNK, HETZELL and TRITT. Obediah ALLISON married Lydia Wheeler in Columbiana Co 10 Jun 1841. Who are the parents of Lydia Wheeler. There is a Frederick and Christina WHEELER in the 1850 census for Columbiana Co. Are they the parents of Lydia? Lydia Wheeler and Obediah Allison moved to Morrow Co OH about 1844. The raised a family of 12 children. (3 children from his first wife who died and 9 children by Lydia)
