Re: earlier Dorothy S. Smithson query re William Joseph HOWARD. (Her e-mail address was returned as incorrect.) This is the first Howard I have seen, therefore I thought I would give it a try. The name I am looking for is William Joseph HOWARD and he married my gggrandmother. We do not know anything about his family or where they came from as far as I know. He may have been from Elyria Ohio? I was told he came from Loraine County but my mother has looked off and on for a long time. I have not been able to find information about the HOWARDs in Loraine county so thought I would try surrounding counties. My mother, Beth Eloise Howard Goodman, is the one doing this but she does not have a computer. I told her I would make a couple of inquiries and you can reply back to me.

Their children were: Anna Barbara TRACY TRAUTMAN, born 12 Oct 1867 OH married to Frederick Carl PETERSILGE and George MCNEAL TRAUTMAN, bn 11 Jan 1890. Her father was George MCNEAL. Need help in my research of the Enoch and Rhoda (LEWIS) JACKSON family that lived in Galion I believe from 1826 - 1850. My grandfather had information on his side of the family that came from Crawford County. This is the information that I have: Enoch JACKSON died in Crawford County, Ohio on Oct. 21, 1850 and was buried in the old cemetery in Corsica, Ohio Enoch came from Richland Co. before he was married to Rhoda Lewis in Knox County, on March 2, 1826 so Corsica could be in Ricland County. His wife is also buried there. I could not find the town of Corsica in the information that I had. Do you know where this is or is it just a cemetery by that name.
