Dehn, Frank B. -- Frank B. Dehn, son of John L. Dehn, who was brought home on Friday from Denver in a semi-conscious condition died at the home of his parents on West Fourth Street at 5:15 o'clock Sunday, of what is known in Colorado as mountain fever.  For several years past he was employed as a cutter in a leading clothing house at Chicago, but last summer removed to Galion, and a few months ago went to Denver for his health.  He was aged 25 years, and was married July 12th., 1887, to Mary Dietrich, daughter of Geo. J. Dietrich of Galion.  The funeral will take place today at 12:30 o'clock from the family residence on West Fourth Street.  The remains will be then conveyed to Galion and he interred from the residence of Mr. Dietrich at 4 o'clock p.m.  [Mansfield Herald:  25 April 1889]

Keil, John -- John Keil, aged 77 years, died at his home in Bucyrus Saturday morning, after failing in health for the past seventeen years.  He was born in Germany and was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Henry Keil.  His wife died a year ago, on the same day and at the same hour.  He was married to Miss Wilhelmina Hocker in 1856 of which marriage thirteen children were born.  The following are living:  Mrs. J.C. Holmes, of Bucyrus;  Mrs. W.H. Lovekin of Toledo;  Mrs. L.A. Dozer, Charles, Herry, Martha, Nita and Minnie, all of Bucyrus.  [Mansfield Daily Shield:  10 February 1913]

Kochenderfer, ---- -- The many friends of George J. Kochenderfer will be sorry to learn of the death of his father, Dr. Kochenderfer, a well-known and respected resident of Galion, who died Sunday.  Mr. Kochenderfer and family went to Galion to attend the funeral.  [Mansfield Daily Shield:  17 February 1913]

McDonald, Patrick -- Patrick McDonald, of Galion, aged 35, and just married, fell under the car wheels at Bellefontaine and was instantly killed.  [Mansfield Herald:  21 March 1889]

Restine, George T. -- George T. Restine, founder of the Galion Sun and proprietor of the Galion telephone lines, is dead, aged about thirty-nine years.  He was a Mason, a prominent man and enterprising citizen.  [Mansfield (OH) Herald:  18 April 1889]
