Denison Cemetery was started about 1823. It is located off Denison Avenue and is accessed actually from West 25th Street (Pearl Road). Many of the bodies here have been moved to other cemeteries over the years. In this cemetery lie the remains of some veterans of the Revolutionary War, a couple of Civil War veterans and even some from WWII. Some of the records have photographs of the stones, some don't. At this time, there are links to the phots that we have. If you see "not known" next to the maker notation, that means that it's not known at this time. Eventually, these will be corrected. The Cemetery was re-dedicated in 1981 by the Early Settlers Association. These are the transcriptions of the interment records from Denison Cemetery.
As I get them scanned and uploaded, I will be adding photographs to those that have a marker. I already have some photos, but don't have them scanned. This will be coming in the future. If you have a realative that has a marker and it is noted that I do have a photo of it, if you email me (cuyweb@sunmtn.net), I'll scan it sooner and send the file to you.
