Below are listed Genealogy and Historical Societies in the Cuyahoga County area with as much information as we presently have on hand. A few of these have web sites of their own and we have provided those links. We will also provide a descriptive page for any genealogy or historical society in the area that does not have its own web site and would like to provide the necessary information. There are three major sources for Ohio records. Unfortunately, only the Western Reserve Historical Socitey is located in Cuyahoga county. The Ohio Genealogical Society is located in Mansfield, Richland County. The Ohio Historical Society is located in Columbus, Franklin County.

Admission, Hours and Parking Info for the Library: Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Extended hours are available Wednesday evenings until 9 p.m. Admission is $7.50 for adults, $6.50 for seniors, and $5.50 for students. Members of the WRHS and children 5 years and younger are admitted free. The admission fee includes entry to the History Museum, Library and Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum. The fee to park in the museum lot is $1.00 per 1/2 hour to a maximum of $8.00.
