I am researching KRETZEK and SCHUBERT lines. Frank KRETZEK was born in Amina Austria and married Josefina ?. Frank was born February 14, 1861 and came to America on the vessel Maine from Bremen Germany. They came to Cuyahoga County in 1917. They had a girl named Fannie who married John SCHUBERT.

He married Mary Elizabeth PETERSON, November 12, 1868 in Boyd County, Kentucky. Some descendants of William are believed to be residing in the Cleveland, Cuyahoga County area. He married Josephine MEDERER, born March 11, 1899 in OH, died September 27, 1977 in Brunswick, Medina Ciounty, OH. LAWRENCE's father was also Lawrence HEALEY and his mother wa Mary HARRIS. I'm searching for descendants of my grandparents Edwin SPEAR and Mary GEE, both born in England about 1850. They lived in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, in the 1880's, left there about 1893. No trace of them after that date. May have returned to Canada or to England. They had six sons and one daughter. Believe the daughter moved to Canada, at least two of the sons to Calif. One son, Arthur Louis SPEAR, married my mother, Eva Pearl REVELL, daughter of Wesley REVELL and Emma DAME, in Oklahoma or Texas about 1923.

I am researaching Joseph EBSWORTH who was born in Yorkshire England in 1895, immigrated to Lakewood, OH via Canada. He married Mabel Grace ECKERT b 1801 in OH. She lived in Lakewood until her death in 1922. Thanks.

Windsor Tudor WILLIAMS was born in Wales in May 1865. He married Anna BRAZNELL in 1890 in PA. In 1909 they were living in West Dover, OH Cuyahoga County. He died circa 1927 but where? If you have any info please contact me.

I am researching the surname < McCORD > in Cuyahoga County. Ida McCord was my great grandmother and my grandfather was Guy McCord. Guy McCord was placed in the Cleveland Protestant Orphans Asylum by Ida McCord on 9/19/1894. He was born on June 6 or 14, 1894. We do not know anything about Ida. Guy McCord was adopted by George B and Amy A Roberts of Weymouth - Medina County - Ohio in November 1894. I would like to find more information on Ida, i.e. her parents and also on my biological great granfather.

WADSWORTH, Samuel and Jane; WADSWORTH, Laura and Wheeler; I am looking for information on my great great grandmother and her brother Laura WADSWORTH. She was born in or near Portage, OH to Samuel Wadsworth a moulder and his wife Jane. The Wadsworth family moved to Adrian, Lenawee Co., MI in the 1860, where Laura married William A. WELLS. Samuel Wadsworth was born in NY or CT (both are found listed in different US Census reports). His wife Jane is listed as having been born in NY. This line of Wadsworth's is said to be related to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Family history always has claimed that Samuel was a brother to Henry's mother. I am looking for any information as to who Samuel was related to in OH. He moved there as a very small child. Samuel was born abt. 1803. Laura was born abt 1840. I found Samuel in both Portage and Lake counties in OH. Samuel's and Jane's granddaughter died in Cleveland, OH in 1929. Her name was Myra E Wells. She had married Edward Washington Reynolds of Nilestown, Ont. Canada and they had lived in Detroit, MI for many years. She was my great grandmother. Any help you can supply in this matter will be very much appreciated. Thank you for your assistants in this matter.

My great grandfather was Heinrich Ferdinand NOBIS, aka Henry NOBIS or Ferdinand NOBIS. He immigrated to the United States in about March 1869 with his family. Apparently he lived with his daughter (my aunt) Olga GARTNER (husband was Charles GARTNER) near Cleveland, Ohio at the time of his death. This information was from an old family letter. This could have been anytime after 1874. I am looking for help in finding any possible record of my grandfather's existence or death in or near Cleveland. Also looking for information on Olga (Nobis) GARTNER and her husband Charles GARTNER, that may lead to further information on Heinrich.
