Dr. Jacob SHAFFER was born Sep 2, 1794 in PA. He married Anna THATCHER before 1816. Anna was the daughter of Samuel Susan THATCHER. Their known children were: Jacob, born 1817 in OH; Isaac, born Mar 1818; & Silas Southworth, born Apr 11, 1819, Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.
