Would like to share information re the John LAWLER (1810- 1865)and Mary COYLE Lawler(1812-1903) family who moved to Cleveland, Ohio from Frampton, Quebec about 1863. They had 6 children...Tom (1844-1933) who married Kate DEIMLING; James (1846-1873), Harriett (1847-1913); John (1848-1915); Mary (1850-1933) who became Sister M Vincent of the Blue Nuns, and then established her own religious community, The Congregation of The Humility of Mary in Ottuma, Iowa; and Annie (1851-1936) who married Tom SHEIL. Annie and Tom Sheil's daughters married Frank STANSBURY and Matt BRENNAN.

STIER, HEBLER, WAGNER My grandmother Mary Elizabeth Stier was b.1875 in Cleveland. Her parents were Joseph Stier b. 1846 in Bavaria and Mary Elizabeth Hebler (Heubler) b.1847 in Cleveland. Her sister, Elizabeth Hebler married Jacob Wagner b.1840 in Switzerland.

Surnames I am researching in Cuyahoga Co. ROTH, Frederick b Germany 1845 d Cleveland abt. 1891 spouse Rosa WEISWURM b Germany 1845 I believe both were born in Mannheim, Germany. Do not know when they immigrated or if they were married in Germany or here. MCGANN I am searching for the surname of my grandfather. His mother was Margaret McGann. Her family was found on the 1870 census for Cleveland 5th Ward, Cuyahoga County, Written pg. 127, printed page no. 511 Dwelling #925, family # 1035 Josephine Conway is his sister. He was born Dec. 8, 1871. When he was a year old his mother moved with children to Ca. By 1876 she married Chester Pinkham, who adopted Harry/Henry and Josephine. I am looking for Dewitt C LUSE. I have that he was born in Cuyahoga county.He was married to a women maiden name FISH. They had 4 children and moved to Quincy,Michigan in 1869. The information I have says his wife was a native of ohio,but doesn't say where she was from.I know this is a stretch but it's all I have.Any information anyone can give is more than I have now.Thank You for any help.

Looking for descendants of Freddy YOUNG and wife, Josephine. Last known address in 1943 was 2076 W. 55th St, Cleveland, OH. They had at least 4 children, believe there were two girls and two boys. Freddy's parents were Henry YOUNG and Rillie Gwendolyn PELTIER YOUNG. Freddy had a twin that died at birth. Also looking for descendants of Frank PELTIER, Freddy's great uncle. (His grandfather's brother) His grandfather was James Matthew PELTIER and grandmother was Lula Isabelle ORR Peltier. I need help on finding out my grandfathers fathers name and place of grandfathers birth. I have it all, but not confirmed by paper! I think my best bet is finding my grandfathers naturalization papers. He came from Canada with his mother in 1800s to Cleveland at age 4. Marriage cirtificate was of NO help! HOWE, John J. Living in Cleveland in 1910 and 1920 census with wife, Mary; d. Agatha, Loretta, Ann. John worked for the railroad. Daughters, Agatha and Loretta worked for the Cleveland Telephone Co. Looking for information also on his brother who lived with him prior to 1903 by the name of Patrick William Howe, my grandfather.

His siblings were Sophie, Mary, Joseph, and Michael (spelling?) John SOFRANKO married Katarina (Katherine) GRECKO/GRETCHKO (b. 1891) in 1907 in Pennsylvania. Katarina was born in/around Star Junction, Pennsylvania. Her siblings were Helen, Ann, Paul, Steve, George, and Mary.

I am looking for any information on Luman GRISWOLD and Mary Marilla SMITH. All that I know is that they had a daughter Lorinda, born 5 JUN 1829 in Cuyahoga Co., died 17 JAN 1895 in LaCrosse, WI. She was married 1 DEC 1847 in Cuyahoga CO. to Joseph Warren HILLIARD (Hilyer). Luman's father would be David and his mother Polly Parker if I can find out if he was born in 1799. GREEN Looking for information on William W. "Willy" GREEN, my father. He worked at Central Cadillac in Cleveland in the 50's. Born in Wisconsin on 23 Sep 1924. Was in the Phillipines in the Army Air Corps 3rd Emergency Rescue Squadron. Passed away in a nursing home in Beechwood in April '67. I'm trying to find information on his father, Paul. Father an Ashtabula pharmacist b. 1822 Lake George, Warren, NY, but no ancestry known. Alexander was a streetcar conductor for many years in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio, living on 82nd Street. Wife was Ellen CONLEY PASKO. D. 6 March 1934 in Madison, Lake, Ohio. Nine children, most of whom spelled the name PASCO. Can anyone help with the PASKO/PASCO paternal line?

Thomas C. CAPSTACK (b. 14 Jun 1850 Barnesville (Belmont Co.), m. Mary Catherine Graybill 5 Jun 1873 Harrison Co., d. 10 Nov 1936 N. Ridgeville (Lorain Co.) buried Lakeview Cem., Cleveland). 1880 census has him in Barnesville. Wondered if anyone can tell me when/where in Cleveland he lived and worked -- family legend has it he was a cemetery caretaker (at Lakeview?). His son Earl lived in Cleveland, what about Edward, William, and Carrall? If anyone happens to be going to Lakeview anyway, are any relatives buried nearby? Thanks so much for any help...
