I am researching my ancestors from Cuyahoga and Geauga Counties. I am researching the Vacik (Wacik),Lazna, Maly and Brazda surnames. My Great-grandfather Peter Vacik(Wacik)was born in Bohemia on 28 Dec, 1853. He immigrated to the USA around July of 1881 with his 1st wife Barbara(Lazna) Vacik. They had one son, my Grandfather also named Peter Vacik. He was born on 10 May, 1888 in Cleveland, Ohio. On 24 June, 1920 he married my Grandmother Anna Maly. Her parents were Vinzenz Maly, born in Bohemia on 26 July, 1862. He was married to a Catherine (Kate) Brazda. Her birth and death dates are unknown. My Great-grandmother Barbara (Lazna) Vacik died in Cleveland on 18 Jan, 1893. My Great-grandfather Peter Vacik possibly remarried before his death in 1916. His 2nd wifes first name was Magdalena, maiden name unknown. My Granfather Peter Vacik and Grandmother Anna (Maly) Vacik had 5 children. Vincent, Clarence, Pete, Ann and Edward my father. All have since passed away. I am looking for anyone who may have ties to my ancestors or may think they have ties or a common interest in these surnames. Any help will be greatly appreciated! I also have several resources I am willing to share for free to help others in their research for thier roots!

Wiktorya (Kuczmarski) Jankowski and Stanislaw Jankowsi. They arrived from Poland in the early l900's and were married on January 25, l911. They lived in the Polish neighborhood of Cleveland, and at one time lived at 6924 Clement Ave. Wiktorya was a seamstress by trade and sold baked goods, Stanislaw was active in politics and the Polish "lodges" in the neighborhood. Apparently he played clarinet in a band which performed at the lodge. Any information about the two would be appreciated.

It is quit possible that there was a mistake on the records of the Latter Day Saints data base. It looks like now that Ebenezer Wright was Born in New York as the old family rumor had suggested. I was looking in the Census records of Rufus Wright and he was living in Ft. Ann Township, Washington County, New York during Ebenezers first part of life (like I say I'm still not for sure on the relationship between Rufus and Ebenezer yet, but it is swaying the way of father and son, just need alittle more info to make sure) Phineas Webster (Chloe Hattie (Webster) Wright's father) Was noticed practically living right beside Rufus Wright in Ft. Ann Township. They practically moved to Cuyahoga County at the same exact time if not with each other at that. So I beleive there is quite a resemblance the effects here. Still need a little more on Rufus's existance, date of birth and where born and all. I know that in 1772 Vermont was part of New York until 1813 Vermont was recognized as as a state of the Union. Any other info would be great if possible.
