RIDEL surname. I am looking for information on my great grandfather , Edward Frank Ridel and his twin brother Frank Edward Ridel. Edward married Matilda "Tillie" Fowler. Edward died in 1939. His brother, Frank died June 4, 1940. Frank's wife's name was Rose. I have no maiden name or names of any children for Rose and Frank. Any additional information would help. Thanks! SUNKLE surname. am looking for information on Rybeck/Rybak family from Cleveland in early 1900's - my grandmother was celia Rybak/Rybeck - married Alex C. Mcphail from West Lorne, Ontario - she was a nurse - married X3 - 1st husband died (had a dtr Alice) - divorced 2nd husband (Day or O'Day - had dtr Margaret, raised/married/buried in West Lorne) - 3rd marriage to Alex - had dtr Constance (my mother) - Her parents were Kauski's/Kofski's - had an uncle named Frank who was a lawyer - my mother remembers seeing the Kauski name on the Hippodrome bldg in Cleveland when she was little and Celia's father/grandfather was a court interpreter who spoke several languages - My aunt Alice married and lived in Cleveland all her life - don't know her last name - Would like any info re this side of the family - thanks!!

I am looking for any information regarding the West Warrensville Cemetery which also might be know as the Lee Rd. Cemetery. I believe it is located in Shaker Heights; possibly across the street from the Shaker Heights Genealogical Society. I have many ancestors buried in this cemetery and was wondering if this cemetery has been read. Are there any records available and if so, where can they be found? I am seeking any information on John Andreas Holmer b. March 4, 1882 in Trondheim, Norway. He was of Norwegian and English decent. His father, John Andreas Holmer was English and his mother, Christine Petrine (Moe) Holmer was Norwegian. He was a butler to John D. Rockefeller, Sr., who lived in Cleveland, Ohio. My father and his siblings remember John Holmer coming by train to Iowa with boxes of oranges and gifts in the 1920's and early 1930's. He was very well dressed and thought farm life was the worst. The family does not know what happened to him. He would have been 40 years of age in 1922. He was my grandmother, Jenny Holmer Sandberg's, brother. I would like to hear from anyone who can give me some clues. Thank you.

I am searching for Charles, Graham, Ruby, James Morgan and Thomas Bell, Jr. I believe they were born In Utah in the early 1900's to Isabelle and Thomas Bell. Thomas Bell immigrated to America from Edinburgh, Scotland in 1899. He lived in Utah and was a mining engineer. Thomas also lived in Minot, ND and Seattle, Washington. He passed away in 1957. James was married to Gertrude Muranko and Ruby was married to a Mr. Wahl. Does anyone have information on them?

I am doing research on the surname LANGE. Johann Heinrich Lange married to Maria Gertrude Schomberg in Germany, came to Cleveland about the 1860s. Lived on Wade Ave. on the westside. They are buried at the Scranton Rd. Cemetery. Son Ernst Heinrich Lange(born 1881 in Cleveland) married to a Anna Ehlert (born 1881 in Cleveland)moved to Logansport,Ind. for awhile then came back to Cleveland and was a teacher at the Zion Luthern Church School on E.30th and Prospect.Their children were Walter, Theodor, Gerhard,Ruth,Charlotte,Clara Gertrude. I am looking for descendents of Joseph and Maria Warren Smart Cromack. They lived in Cleveland in the 1850's and 1860's. They had two children, Mary Jane and Hattie. Joseph died in 1868 and Maria died in 1902, both in Cleveland. They are buried in the Monroe Street Cemetary. After the death of her father, Mary Jane lived with William and Margaret Irish in Sheffield Township. She married John Owen. Hattie married Jesse Wheeler and lived in Pittsfield and Elyria.

The DENISON family that lived in Brooklyn, near Denison Avenue, are well documented back to Conn., Mass., and England. I'm interested in connecting with descendants of Dan and Sally (BUSHNELL) DENISON who lived in Cuyahoga Co., from 1821 until their deaths in 1857 and 1848, respectively. Dan and Sally are buried in the Denison Cemetery in Cleveland.

I am seeking info on the Brand family who settled in Cleveland around 1850. Frederick A. Brand and his wife Elizabeth may have married in NY. He was from Germany, she may have been Irish. They had the following children: Frederick W. (married Caroline Conner), Arabella Marie (married Sadler), John E. (an opera singer), Catherine (who died young?), and Frances A. (married Theresa Newmeyer). They lived at 315 Huntington in 1887. Frederick was a Tobacconist (I think that means he made cigars). Frederick and Elizabeth were originally buried at Woodland, but then dug up and reburied at Lakeview alongside their daughter Arabella. John is buried there as well. Francis A. was my GG grandfather.
