I am looking for information on my grandfather-in-law Edward James MCKAY, who supposedly died in Cleveland, Ohio in or around 1959. My mother-in-law was separated from her father at a very young age. We know that he was married prior to 1933 to Helen (or Helena) ROTHBERG (or ROTHBURG). She died in New Jersey in or around January 1933. Edward also supposedly changed his surname from TOTH to MCKAY, but this is unconfirmed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I am seeking the family of Catherine GORMAN - a sister of my grandfather, Patrick Gorman. The Gormans immigrated to Cleveland,OH from Mulranny, Co. Mayo, Ireland in the late 1800's /early 1900's. Catherine married Duncan BURKE in Cleveland, Ohio about 1904. I have been told that they had 5 sons (I know of Duncan, Joseph, William and Albert) and a daughter, Evelyn. In the 1920 Census for Cleveland 3 of the boys are living with the families of Catherine's brothers and sisters - but the rest of the family were supposed to have gone to Detroit with their father. I have been told that Catherine died as a result of an accident sometime between 1915/17 and 1920. The family were known to have lived in Detroit but I don't know whether this was only after Catherine died as her husband came from Michigan and Duncan, Joseph and Albert were born in Ohio. I have not found the rest of the family on a census yet so I don't know where they were

Looking for g-g grandfather/mother. Edward MCNAMARA, born in County Mayo, Ireland abt 1854. He married Katherine (Catherine) MCDERMOTT born in Canada 1859. They had 5 children: Anna, dob Jul 1885; Catherine, dob Apr 1887; Margaret, dob Dec 1888; Frank, dob Apr 1891 and Mary Clara, dob 3-17-1895. They lived on East 43rd street in Cleveland in the 1910's. Mary Clara is my g grandmother who married David G. WINTERS. They lived on Lawn Avenue in the 1920 census. They had 3 children: Albert D. WINTERS, Catherine I. WINTERS (Aileen BERTKE) and Mary Jeannette WINTERS (HERBERT). Thanks for any information!!

My Great Grandmother was in Cuyahoga County, Ohio in 1892. Her address was 77 Stanton (Slanton) St., Cleveland Ohio. Her name was Nancy WEST Stratton. Her daughter was with her(Mary Elizabeth Stratton) Mary Elizabeth Stratton married William KALLENBERGER(KALLENBERG) in 1893. A Mark Jellaloney was the Notary Public on the documents.Milo B. Stevens and Co. was also an Attorney on some of the papers. Witnesses on some of the documents were J. Rohnson and Tillie M. Beckerle. The names I am looking for are WEST... STRATTON...KALLENBERGER...Does anyone recognize any of these names? Nancy was from Florida and was only there a short while in 1892.

We are researching the family of BENNETT & KELLY, My husbands grandmother was Zelma Maybell BENNETT, and married William KELLY. They had 4 sons, two lived and two died in infancy. Lawrence and Allen lived. Lawrence was born in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. We have most of the family history of Zelma, her family were related to the HOGG'S who changed their names to PRENTISS in the late 1800's and her mother's maiden name was MURFETT. But have been searching for the family of William KELLY, which we know the fathers name was Patrick. This is the furtherest we have got. Would appreciate and help in this surname.
