Can anyone verify my suspicion that Pershing or part of it was originally Hollister? According to census and other records ancestors lived at 5053 & 5051 Hollister in 1900, 1910, & 1920. However death certificate dated 1923 indicates party lived at 5053 Pershing! Census info indicates Hollister is in area bounded by Finn, Sawtell Ave. Erie R.R., Willson Avenue, Mead and Broadway. Mapquest brings up Hollister in a totally different area, however Pershing does appear in that area. Thanks for any help provided.

On one census record Ezra stated his father was bn. PA and on another, he said NY. Ezra's mother was "born at sea" coming to America from Scotland.
