Looking for information on William Taylor b 1789 Isle of Wight m Lucina Rush 1812 moved to Ohio along with Lucina's brother, Jerry Rush. They lived near Cleveland close enough to Lake Erie that they "drove the sheep into the Lake to clean their wool" Emigrated to Oregon in 1851 with his eleven children. Any record of William Taylor and his family or Lucina Rush's brother, Jerry during this time span (aft 1812 to 1850) would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information on Anna Christine Wintrich she was born May 16, 1889in ohio and died Feb. 1981. She married Milo William Drabek sometime around 1910-1918. Anna Parents are Mathias Wintrich b.abt 1861 in Germany and d. 1927 in Ohio. Anna Bastion b. abt 1861 in Germany and d. 1942 in Ohio. They were married about 1886 in the States or Germany. They also had six other children. Their names are: Mayma b. 1888-1889 d. 1928 m.Albert Stier, Mathias b. 1890-1892 d. 1968 m. Elise, Catherine b.1893-1895 d. 1945 m. Erwin Mot, Julie b. 1895-1896 d. 1982 m. Art Kaffer, Margart, b.1897-1900 d.1917, and John b.1902 d. 1975 m. Elenor.

I am a descendant of Philipp Jakob Gundermann, born Jan. 28, 1790 in Hordt, Palatinate, Germany. He came to Cleveland, OH during the late 1850s to join his two daughters who had arrived earlier. The daughters were Kate Gundermann and Mag Gundermann. I do not know if they were married at the time of their father's arrival. Katharina "Kate" Gundermann was born Nov. 22, 1832 in Hordt and Margaretha "Mag" Gundermann was born Aug. 28, 1839 in Hordt. This family was Catholic. I would like to have info on these individuals who lost contact with the other siblings who went to Arkansas.

Am trying to find obit on Mary Ann Tait, widow of Thomas Tait deceased Ont, Ca. 1920 Cleveland city census finds her at 4406 Bucyrus Ave w grown children Joseph, Thomas, Anna, Elizabeth and Jane. Mary Ann was 76 yrs old in 1930 census at that address so she maybe lived another 5-10y? 30 Census says she emig ~1911. Am assuming she was Catholic as her Irish heritage/siblings all were. Have no idea why she moved to Cleveland when Tom died; not any of her family there that I know of, maybe his? although that would be strange as she was only child and parents died in Oxford Sta. Ont. Canada albeit before she moved to US.

WALLINGFORD, Nicholas is in the 1860 US Census New York, Schenectady County, Duanesburgh, married to Margaret. Seeking information about Heaster G. KELLY and his mother Sarah (KRUM/CRUM) KELLY. Heaster lived in Cleveland around 1907. He lived at or had a business (possibly a Jewelry Store) 5025 Lorain Street in Cleveland when he sent a letter to his brother. Their mother was not in good health and possibly died in Cleveland after 1907. Any information would be helpful

James WOOD - Carpenter age 48, Birth place OH, wife Mary 50, son Edgar 16 son Wallace 14 son John 11 son John 4. I believe this to be James Edgar WOOD, son of Thomas Haskell Wood, buried in the Toledo Forest Cemetery.

Hi, I am researching Carl RISTAU(RISTEAU) born June 1866 and immigrated to the US from Alsace-Lorraine in 1886. He was a plasterer and lived in Cleveland with his wife Minnie (maiden name OBEROWSKI?) whom he married in 1892 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Minnie was the widow of John KOWALSKI who had died in 1890 in Cleveland. She also lost her daughter Martha in 1890. They had four sons: John, Herman, Arthur and Henry. Carl died in 1935 and Minnie in 1948 and they are both buried in Brookly Heights Cemetary. Any information who be appreciated.

I am looking for information on a John SCHNEIDER-SNYDER born to a Martin Schneider-Snyder. John owned a dry goods store in Cleveland Ohio. I guess he was born in the 1840's or early 1850's based on his brother Justice birth date of 1845 in Loraine County Ohio. John had 2 sons that drowned. Their must have been something in the papers about this event, or his dry goods store. Any information would be appreciated. Thank You, Pam

Alanson Lake, father of Ann LAKE who married Isaac HEWITT about 1840, date and place unknown. Their dau Anna HEWITT, my grgrandmother, was born in Cleveland about 1852 and married Alfred STILLMAN of New York City in the early 1870's. That is the only information I have on Alanson LAKE, other than he was a confectioner in Cleveland. It is possible that either he or his wife were of German descent.
