A Note About Research:
The genealogy society does not do research for anyone, but we do have a paid researchers list for anyone requesting it. If you would like the list please e-mail our chapter at defiancegenealogy2002@yahoo.com and in the subject line put REQUEST PAID RESEARCHER LIST PLEASE and we will e-mail it to you.
The list of researchers are available to do research. The Society, in posting the names of those offering research service, in no way does the Defiance County Chapter of OGS endorse the competence or accuracy of the work carried out by such researchers. Furthermore, the Defiance County Chapter of OGS does not make recommendations for researchers. In engaging any of these researchers, the terms of the engagement are entirely a contract matter between the parties and in no legal way obligate the Defiance County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society. As well, all financial matters are between you and the researcher you select.
